Setup

Install from Shopify and open the app in your admin.
In Settings → Checkout, use Email as the customer contact method and require Shipping address phone number.
Enable the contact rule from the app. Verify its Enabled status after saving.
Test delivery, pickup, mixed carts and supported accelerated checkout using an isolated development store.

What the rule checks

Physical, shipping-required products except gift cards need email and a customer phone. Checkout contact, billing, shipping and local delivery phone fields are accepted. Pickup store and pickup point phone numbers are ignored. A missing number produces a phone-field error; pickup uses the customer's billing phone field.

Plan eligibility

Live stores on Basic, Grow or Advanced require an approved App Store-distributed app. Custom-distributed Shopify Function apps require Shopify Plus. Developer registration payment is separate.

Control and uninstall

Disable the rule in the app to stop its enforcement. Native Shopify email and shipping phone settings remain as configured. Uninstall through Shopify admin; authenticated uninstall and shop-redaction webhooks remove this app's sessions.
